Time is the essence

Sand and salt water caress them
inside of kissing breezes
Calming mouth sleeps close and
barrel chest a veil from elements, caring
arms lull,
cradle them both into deep slumber

Nest in the corner of pacific blue hearts,
city oxygen
floods until
they bleed red

she longs in black and white, and

prays, a silent siren east
sun pierces through haze
silver mercurial liquid engulfs the shore and
pacific blue heart
burns
for
him
